As a fellow mum, I understand things may not always go as planned. Don't worry, I've experienced it all. It's normal to be concerned about how your children will behave but please remember to stay calm and relaxed. Children pick up on our emotions. At my sessions there will be running, jumping, laughing, kissing, cuddling and tickling— that’s where the magic happens! It’s in those sweet moments when you forget there’s a camera and you connect. Sit back, soak in the love and enjoy the chaos. Those are the fleeting moments you’ll want to remember.

If I had a dollar every time a client said this to me! Never fear, I will guide you every step of the way. My sessions are partly posed, but in a way that looks effortless and natural. You will receive plenty of gentle prompts and direction from me throughout the session. Just focus on your loved ones and I will do the rest. The most beautiful and authentic moments often happen when you least expect them.

Ah the Gold Coast. Beautiful one day, perfect the next! Rainy days can be very unpredictable here, so I will generally wait to decide if the session will go ahead by midday on the day of your shoot. If the rain has set in by then, we will reschedule to the next available date that suits us both.

If you or your kids are sick, let me know as soon as you’re able. I will do the same if I am unwell, as I do not want to pass anything onto you and your family. We will reschedule to another day when everyone is healthier and happier.

During the hour leading up to sunset, there’s typically a beautiful golden glow, which photographers refer to as Golden Hour. For outdoor sessions, Golden Hour is the perfect time to capture my style of photography. Whilst my studio and “at home” sessions are held during the day—usually between 9am and noon. I do also offer the occasional sunrise session, but I’m not much of a morning person, so these are on a request basis.

To secure your spot, it's best to get in touch as soon as you know you're expecting, as my schedule fills up quickly. For maternity sessions, I recommend booking between 32 to 35 weeks, when your bump is nicely round and you're still comfortable moving about. As for newborn sessions, it's best to schedule within the first two weeks after your baby's arrival, as this is when they tend to sleep the most, allowing me to capture all those perfect tiny details.

In the days following your session, you will receive a sneak peek, via social media, of some edited images. After that, I’ll get to work editing, and then deliver your gallery within three to four weeks. Once your gallery is ready, you will receive an email with a link to a private online gallery. From there you can view, share and download all of your favourite images.
